They played a bunch of album tracks, a whole lot of covers (half of which were by a band called the Meat Puppets – no I’d never heard of them either) and generally tried to be as contrary as possible.
Having said that, all of these things work in the album’s favour. It’s actually a really great representation of what Nirvana is. I still find it strange that Nirvana never had a number one album in Australia while Kurt was alive. This album is a fitting epitaph.Monday, September 6, 2021
